A few weeks ago I posted about the death of Skymall, how they were going out of business and depriving us of the opportunity to buy great items like these Orbit Wheels:

or the ultimate travel pillow.

But sadly, they are coming back under new ownership and will be focusing more on more traditional items     The new owner (Scott Jordan) says the focus will be on items that are “clever, but not kitschy.”    WHAT?  WE NEED KITSCHY.   Clever is everywhere.   I actually flew 4 times last year just so I could thumb through the SkyMall magazine and look at items I would never buy.

Oh well, I guess now if I want to buy Star Wars Chopsticks, I’ll just have to go here.
