The other day I bought a package of Klondike bars, which have always been a square bar full of ice cream for as long as I can remember. But when I opened the package, there was a big hole in the middle so I was really only getting about 70% of my expected ice cream and I was quite upset. I then noticed the package called it a Klondike “donut” (Boston creme was the flavor) so I guess it’s on my for not reading the description carefully.
Which brings me to this article from Humans of Tumblr that exposes some ludicrous packaging ideas. #3 reminds me of packages I’ve received from Amazon (you’d think the #1 shipper in the world could fit things into boxes more efficiently…) and #2 just made me cry for the people that can’t even cut an avocado in half. I would like to buy the Tic-Tacs, though. I think that one is clever.

#2 Same with avocados.
We are perfectly capable of halving our own avocados.

#3 This ginormous box shipped a ruler.
Maybe the person in charge of shipping should have measured it first.

#4 Again, with the produce.
Just let everyone pick their own. They could even put them in bags they bring from their homes. It will all be okay.

#5 This gas can of tea makes me think I could probably brew my own using a teeny biodegradable tea bag and some hot water.

#14 Oftentimes, choice cuts of meat are available for purchase at the butcher case where it will be wrapped in paper and a piece of tape or string.
