Sunday Soapbox–Entitlement Is Still A Disease

If you have Facebook, you should check out the page “Entitlement Is Still A Disease.”   There are tons of great threads directed at people who complain on FB pages to companies after having to undergo some HORRIBLE experience, such as not getting the right meal at a restaurant.    Then they jump on FB to complain vehemently, usually fishing for a gift card or two.       Here’s one that was a complaint directed at CVS, by a parent who was too ignorant to read the label when buying something for her own child.   Labels are there for a reason, lady.   That is all.

Hi. I bought your Children’s Allergy Rapid Melts for my child that has a food dye allergy and it is full of food dyes. Please explain to me how, as a parent, I’m supposed to help my kid by giving them MORE food dye!! Thanks but no thanks.

Entitlement is still a Disease You don’t have to buy that particular allergy pill…There are others…My kid is allergic to food dye too and it’s incredibly easy to find something he can take. You just have to step up and do a little parenting work and look at the ingredient list.

Stephanie Green Get the dye free liquid!

Nina Lansing That is too obvious Stephanie.

Nina Lansing I guess this fact was hidden on the labeling which is why you bought them in the first place?
