A lady in Kentucky has named her baby in honor of her favorite store.  Darla Hart named her daughter Walma, thus making her (for now and possibly forever) Walma-Hart.

“I just love Walmart. They have a great selection! Everything I need! And they’ve saved me so much money over the years and have such friendly customer service that I just wanted to repay them by naming my new daughter Walma Hart.”

Walmart officials were hard to reach, but did comment: “We appreciate brand loyalty and find it endearing Ms. Hart would name her daughter after our company. We are sending her $50 in coupons.”

Ms. Hart was so delighted by the news of receiving $50 in free coupons that she decided to hyphenate her last name to further honor the superstore.

“It’s not officially legal yet, but I’m now calling myself Darla Walmart-Hart!”

This poor child will be abused and teased in school and until she gets married.  I guess in retrospect it’s fortunate her mom didn’t like shopping at Ralph’s or the convenience store Kum And Go…
