It looks like the state of Tennessee has decided that it’s not right for a drugstore to own a PBM that sets prices for its’ own stores and is working on a bill to stop it. CVS is saying they’d have to close their 134 stores there if the bill passes. If it does pass, it will be interesting to see if other states follow suit and stop them from managing both ends of the transaction.
