Here’s a brief video with more on the merger between Family Dollar and Dollar Tree.  It says they rejected Dollar General’s offer because they were too big, but it might  have been who was doing the offering...

They also mention that CVS may be interested in purchasing some of the store locations.  CVS hasn’t bought anybody lately so they are probably getting antsy.
