I have always admired the In-N-Out chain, not just because they make the tastiest burgers anywhere (just ask my friend from Tennessee what he misses most about not living in California any more) but also because they do \u00a0one thing well and stick to it. \u00a0While virtually every other chain has bastardized their brand by expanding their menu and freezing their items and putting them in grocery stores, you won’t see any of those shenanigans going on at In-N-Out. \u00a0Kudos to the founders (and their heirs) who have managed to stay true to the company’s original business plan and not opening zillions of locations just because they can. \u00a0I have NEVER seen an In-N-Out that is not extremely busy. \u00a0 They also pay their managers and employees well, I have heard that a store manager makes over $100,000 which, well, is a lot for flipping burgers.<\/p>\n
