{"id":802,"date":"2015-05-12T08:39:48","date_gmt":"2015-05-12T15:39:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/re-tales.net\/?p=802"},"modified":"2015-05-12T08:39:48","modified_gmt":"2015-05-12T15:39:48","slug":"why-ritz-carleton-is-successful","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/re-tales.net\/?p=802","title":{"rendered":"Why Ritz-Carleton is Successful"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.helpscout.net\/images\/resources\/stories\/ritz-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>So after a bunch of stories about thieves and bad service, it&#8217;s time for a GOOD customer service story. \u00a0I&#8217;ve only had the good fortune to go to the Ritz one time but I am not surprised to hear about a story like this:<\/p>\n<section class=\"section-intro\">\u00a0<\/section>\n<p><em>\u00a0In case you\u2019ve never come across this fantastic tale, the story begins when customer Chris Hurn\u2019s son left his favorite stuffed giraffe, \u201cJoshie,\u201d in their Ritz-Carleton hotel room after a recent stay.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Mr. Hurn assured his distraught son that Joshie was just staying a few extra days on vacation. He then called the staff at the Ritz and relayed the story he had told his son.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>In an all-star effort to make <a href=\"https:\/\/www.helpscout.net\/blog\/the-1-thing-that-creates-loyal-customers\/\">everything right for their customer<\/a>, the staff at the Ritz created a series of photographs that included all of the activities Joshie had been involved in during his \u201cextended vacation.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>First things first: They knew Joshie couldn\u2019t just be aimlessly wandering around the Ritz without a staff card &#8230; so they made him one!<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"fancy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.helpscout.net\/images\/resources\/stories\/ritz-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>After that, Joshie headed over to the pool area to relax.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"fancy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.helpscout.net\/images\/resources\/stories\/ritz-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Not one to sit around and do nothing, Joshie helped out in the loss prevention department.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"fancy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.helpscout.net\/images\/resources\/stories\/ritz-4.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Joshie then decided to melt away some stress with a spa day.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"fancy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.helpscout.net\/images\/resources\/stories\/ritz-5.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>To top it all off, the Ritz sent Hurn and his son a booklet filled with information about Joshie\u2019s stay as well as a host of pictures showing what a good time he\u2019d had.
