Apart from paying baristas an average of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.glassdoor.com\/Salary\/Starbucks-Salaries-E2202.htm\">$9.48<\/a> per hour, Starbucks has everything from 401(k)-matching to bonuses to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.upworthy.com\/5-successful-corporations-show-what-can-happen-when-employees-are-paid-a-living-wage?c=ufb1\">healthcare<\/a>, and even part-time employees are eligible for benefits.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><em>Not to mention you also get free coffee&#8230;what else could you need in a day?<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"list-item\">\n<h2 class=\"list-item__title\"><em>4. Not to mention each Ikea store reflects the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.huffingtonpost.com\/2015\/06\/24\/ikea-minimum-wage_n_7648804.html\">cost of living<\/a> in that particular area when considering each starting wage. Pretty neat!<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"list-item\">\n<h2 class=\"list-item__title\"><em>7. The average cashier makes <a href=\"https:\/\/www.glassdoor.com\/Salary\/Whole-Foods-Market-Salaries-E422.htm\">$11.16<\/a> hourly and the company can even boast having an employee <a href=\"http:\/\/www.huffingtonpost.com\/2015\/04\/02\/companies-minimum-wage_n_6991672.html\">turnover rate<\/a> of less than 10%. Not too shabby.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"list-item\">\n<h2 class=\"list-item__title\"><em>8. In-N-Out also provides its employees with retirement accounts, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.upworthy.com\/5-successful-corporations-show-what-can-happen-when-employees-are-paid-a-living-wage?c=ufb1\">healthcare<\/a>, and even three weeks of vacation per year for senior employees.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"list-item\">\n<h2 class=\"list-item__title\"><em>10. They\u2019ve even observed a significant increase in their number of cardholders ever since <a href=\"http:\/\/www.upworthy.com\/5-successful-corporations-show-what-can-happen-when-employees-are-paid-a-living-wage?c=ufb1\">increasing wages<\/a>, which shows that it\u2019s actually helped their business! The company also offers employees health insurance, which about <a href=\"http:\/\/www.huffingtonpost.com\/2015\/04\/02\/companies-minimum-wage_n_6991672.html\">88%\u00a0<\/a>of the employees use.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"list-item\">\n<h2 class=\"list-item__title\"><em>11. In addition, employees are also provided health benefits and vacation time.
