So recently I told you about some of the trickiest interview questions and how to answer them<\/a>, but to work at Walmart you don’t need to know how many window washers are in Chicago or how many golf balls fit into a bus. \u00a0 You do however, have to know what to do if a co-worker asks you to steal, which is probably a fairly common occurrence there. \u00a0In any case, if you want to work for the most powerful company in America, here’s what you’ll need to know:<\/p>\n

With 2.2 million employees and more than $485 billion in revenue last year, Walmart ranks No. 1 on Business Insider’s list of\u00a0America’s most powerful companies<\/a>.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

The family-owned, Arkansas-based retailer has 11,500 stores in 28 countries,\u00a0is the single-largest employer in America, andannounced earlier this year<\/a> it’s raising wages for 500,000 of its 1.4 million US workers.<\/em><\/p>\n

Walmart receives 25 applications for every job opening<\/a>\u00a0and pays on average $9.62 an hour<\/a> for US employees, according to PayScale<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n

So what’s it like to interview with the retail beheamoth? Previous job candidates describe the experience as fairly straightforward and positive on Glassdoor<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n
