Just don&#8217;t tell anyone we told you.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<h4><em>1. STARBUCKS\u00a0<\/em><\/h4>\n<p><em>If you&#8217;re at Starbucks and in need of just a little caffeine, don&#8217;t worry\u2014there&#8217;s a tiny option for you. The Short size is like a little baby cup of coffee. It also comes in handy when you&#8217;re scrounging for change and don&#8217;t have enough for a tall. And,\u00a0thanks to a variety of\u00a0syrups at your disposal, you can create uniquely flavored\u00a0Frappuccinos. There&#8217;s even a whole website dedicated to<a href=\"http:\/\/starbuckssecretmenu.net\/\" target=\"_blank\"> different mixtures<\/a>. Some notable examples are mojito, Tootsie Roll, apple pie, cotton candy, and orange creamsicle.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<h4><em>2. FATBURGER<\/em><\/h4>\n<p><em>At some locations, you can\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Fatburger\/status\/40486163781259264\" target=\"_blank\">order a Hypocrite<\/a>\u2014a veggie burger with crispy strips of bacon.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<h4><em>3. Some of the flavors confirmed by the company&#8217;s headquarters include Strawberry Shortcake, White Gummy Bear, PB&amp;J, Fruity Pebbles, Push-Up Pops, Skittles, and various flavors of Starburst. Other tantalizing flavors that are rumored to exist: Chocolate Gummi Bear, Apple Pie, Sourpatch Kid, Tootsie Roll, Chocolate-covered Strawberries, and Now and Later.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<h4><em>4. CHIPOTLE\u00a0<\/em><\/h4>\n<p><em><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/instagram.com\/p\/1s-Xoqo-nZ\/embed\/\" width=\"620\" height=\"610\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The accommodating burrito joint can\u00a0make you just about anything\u2014as long as they have the ingredients, they&#8217;ll give it a try. Some options for building blocks include quesadillas, nachos, and a single taco. If you want to get creative, opt for the \u201cQuesarito,\u201d a burrito wrapped in a cheese quesadilla. If you want something somewhat smaller, the \u201cBurritodilla\u201d uses only half the filling.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<h4><em>5. WENDY\u2019S\u00a0<\/em><\/h4>\n<p><em><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/instagram.com\/p\/tDnjB_NkPa\/embed\/\" width=\"620\" height=\"610\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em><br \/>\n<em>If you find yourself so hungry that not even three patties will satiate you, order the \u201cGrand Slam.\u201d Also known as the \u201cMeat Cube,\u201d this hulking sandwich features four patties stacked on a bun.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<h4><em>6. MCDONALD\u2019S\u00a0<\/em><\/h4>\n<div id=\"file-194770\" class=\"file file-image file-image-jpeg\">\n<div class=\"content\"><em><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/images.mentalfloss.com\/sites\/default\/files\/styles\/insert_main_wide_image\/public\/3578263965_fe7b1b5cd8_z.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"620\" height=\"611\" \/><\/em><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"imagecaption\"><em><a class=\"owner-name truncate\" title=\"Go to Donovan Kruger's photostream\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/donovankruger\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-track=\"attributionNameClick\" data-rapid_p=\"35\">Donovan Kruger<\/a>, Flickr \/\/\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/creativecommons.org\/licenses\/by-nc-nd\/2.0\/\" target=\"_blank\">CC BY-NC-ND 2.0<\/a><\/em><\/div>\n<p><em>McDonald\u2019s has long denied the existence of a secret menu, but <a href=\"http:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/mcdonalds-secret-menu-real-2014-11\" target=\"_blank\">Business Insider<\/a> proved that if you\u2019re persistent, you can convince the workers to make you a variety of interesting concoctions. The outlandish &#8220;Land, Sea, and Air Burger&#8221; features a beef patty, a\u00a0chicken patty, and fish filet. The &#8220;Monster Mac&#8221; is a Big Mac with eight patties and eight slices of cheese.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>One thing you can get without a fight is a Neapolitan Milkshake, a blend of strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla ice cream. You can also get this frosty treat at In-N-Out Burger.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<h4><em>7. POPEYE\u2019S\u00a0<\/em><\/h4>\n<p><em>If you\u2019re feeling a little health-conscious, Popeye\u2019s isn&#8217;t the easiest place to order. But if you insist on dining &#8220;Louisiana fast,&#8221; there&#8217;s a little hope for you. Ordering &#8220;naked chicken\u201d will get you breading-free poultry. The word is that this item is only on the menu at some Popeye&#8217;s, although since it&#8217;s just plain chicken it is an option at all of the chain&#8217;s outlets.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<h4><em>8. TACO BELL\u00a0<\/em><\/h4>\n<p><em>Like Chipotle, Taco Bell will make you just about anything within reason as long as they have the ingredients for it. Since most of the food at Taco Bell is made out of the same basic items, you can often ask for most discontinued items and get them. One &#8220;secret,&#8221;\u009d though, is that most locations have an unadvertised green chili sauce that&#8217;s reportedly excellent.<\/em><\/p>\n<h4><em>9. SUBWAY\u00a0<\/em><\/h4>\n<p><em><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/instagram.com\/p\/2dyqJ8kSZZ\/embed\/\" width=\"620\" height=\"610\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em><br \/>\n<em>When Subway shifted its focus to healthy eating, the pizza sub disappeared from the menu in most American locations. But if you ask, lots of the locations will still make the\u00a0sandwich. Be warned, though: Jared probably wouldn&#8217;t approve of the nine slices of pepperoni and copious amounts of cheese slathered in marinara sauce.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<h4><em>10. In fact, they&#8217;ve posted it on their\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.in-n-out.com\/menu\/not-so-secret-menu.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">website<\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/www.in-n-out.com\/menu\/not-so-secret-menu.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">.<\/a>\u00a0But in case you&#8217;re not in the habit of surfing fast food sites, here&#8217;s the skinny on the rather un-skinny items: Ordering something &#8220;Animal Style&#8221;\u009d at In-N-Out means you&#8217;re going to get it with lettuce, tomato, a mustard-cooked beef patty, pickles, extra spread (it&#8217;s sort of Thousand-Islandy) and grilled onions. You can even get your fries Animal Style. &#8220;Protein Style&#8221;\u009d is a burger wrapped in a lettuce leaf instead of a bun. A Grilled Cheese is two slices of American cheese, lettuce, tomato and spread on a bun (grilled onions if you so choose). And you can get just about any combo of meat and cheese that you want if you order it like you&#8217;re ordering lumber: 3&#215;3 gets you three beef patties and three slices of cheese, 4&#215;4 gets you four of each, and so on. It doesn&#8217;t stop there. One gluttonous patron requested a\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/supersizedmeals.com\/food\/article.php\/20060125050438458\" target=\"_blank\">100&#215;100 at a Las Vegas store a couple of years ago<\/a>. One item not listed on the website secret menu: The Flying Dutchman, which is two slices of cheese sandwiched between two patties, hold the bun.<\/em><\/p>\n<h4><em>11. BURGER KING\u00a0<\/em><\/h4>\n<div id=\"file-194774\" class=\"file file-image file-image-jpeg\">\n<div class=\"content\"><em><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/images.mentalfloss.com\/sites\/default\/files\/styles\/insert_main_wide_image\/public\/98691607_1123d5a723_z.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"620\" height=\"465\" \/><\/em><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"imagecaption\"><em><a class=\"owner-name truncate\" title=\"Go to John's photostream\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/sneeu\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-track=\"attributionNameClick\" data-rapid_p=\"48\">John<\/a>, Flickr \/\/\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/creativecommons.org\/licenses\/by-nc\/2.0\/\" target=\"_blank\">CC BY-NC 2.0<\/a><\/em><\/div>\n<p><em>Burger King has a number of interesting options for your off-menu adventures. One popular item is the \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.thedailymeal.com\/14-wildest-fast-food-secret-menu-items-slideshow\" target=\"_blank\">Rodeo Burger<\/a>,\u201d a cheeseburger with onion rings and BBQ sauce. You can get that with a side of \u201cFrings,\u201d or an order of half fries and half onion rings. The \u201cQuad Stacker\u201d (also known as the \u201cSuicide Burger\u201d) has four patties, four slices of cheese, a healthy portion of bacon, and special sauce. The \u201cChicken Club Sandwich\u201d is just a regular chicken sandwich with added bacon, tomato, and cheese to give it a country club feel.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>If you&#8217;re looking for something more low-key, most Burger Kings have the ingredients to make you a ham and cheese sandwich if you ask nicely. It\u2019s even offered on the official menu at some regional locations.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<h4><em>12.
