As retailers continue to cut hours and staff, you’re going to see more and more incidents like this one. \u00a0 Guy waits 20 minutes to get helped in Sporting Goods at a Walmart and then basically takes things into his own hands. \u00a0 I think he would have rung people out if he could have figured out how to get into the register. \u00a0 \u00a0More than likely, the Walmart is cutting back and instead of having someone assigned to Sporting Goods all day (too costly!!) they now have 1 person covering 4 departments and they were on their lunch break. \u00a0Sounds a lot like where I work, where at times I am receiver, 2nd cashier, photo clerk and also expected to stock the shelves. \u00a0It’s not easy, folks.<\/p>\n
